The Exeter Knee Reconstruction Unit (EKRU) is a team of specialist knee surgeons based in Exeter, UK.
The Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital is where NHS treatment is provided
The Exeter Nuffield Hospital is where private (or insured) treatment is provided.
The Exeter Nightingale Hospital has been converted into a two-theatre hospital for elective orthopaedics. Initially concentraing on hip and knee replacements, we have now performed surgery on over 500 patients.
Many patients go home the same day as their surgery, and the rest are usually discharged the day after surgery.

This year's Exeter Joint Walk was a fantastic success. The rain on the day did not hold anyone back!
We were able to raise over £5,000 profit for the RDE charity to put towards establishing a Peer Support Programme for patients undergoing hip and knee operations.
